Thoughts and Opinions

I said there would be games where I might not be as detailed and elaborate in my discussion of a game. Tonight is one of those nights. I watched the game with one eye while doing other things, I just didn't want to focus solely on the game tonight and I don't want to write much about it.

Stats were very similar between the two teams, with the obvious notable exception of the possession stat, which Indy fans have come to expect will be drastically skewed to the advantage of Indy's opponent. Otherwise, the stats show exactly what you might expect from a 1-nil result. Moments from both teams that could have made it a larger gap or made a draw out of it. Instead, Indy couldn't find the equalizer and their toying with a second loss after their opening loss to Brooklyn happened.

Whether they will be able to make good on it, Indy returns to Carroll Stadium next week to play the league newcomers Sporting JAX, who have yet to win a game. I don't need to even look at their stats to know that it's very likely Sporting will dominate possession. Then it's right back to the question about what Indy can do with their limited time with the ball.
