Thoughts and Opinions

For a couple of reasons, I'm going to keep this short. This was a fairly ugly game in ugly weather that came down to a single moment of brilliance/luck and that moment came from Atlanta and not Indy. Indy had opportunities to get on the scoreboard, but were unable to match Atlanta's McFadden's 26th minute rocket from outside the box to give Indy a draw or win. As a result, Indy fall to 6th in the Central Division table, albeit with a couple of games in hand on ATL2 and OKC, who currently sit directly above them.

The final playoff spot is going to come down to the wire and, if I'm honest, I'm not sure that Indy is a playoff team this year. I think they could have been with the talent on the roster, but something has happened all year that has not allowed that playoff caliber team to shine. Which is disappointing because I like a lot of these guys. Ouimette is going to leave Indy as one of the top players in many categories in club history. Farr is the kind of guy you want on your team. Law is one of my favorite players to have ever played for Indy and we may only get a year out of him due to the Indy coaching scenarios or offers that he may receive in the off-season. Ayoze. Hackshaw. All great guys who are super talented.

They just couldn't get it together on Saturday under garbage weather conditions, and their chances of making the playoffs continue to get further and further reduced with every game.

The Game Beckons Game Ball

Indy had for shots on target. Law had three of them. So for that reason, Law gets the nod for the GBGB.
